Artist's Inspiration
I took this photo while out playing golf one day. I pulled up to a tee box and spotted this reflection on the ground beside me. Inspiration had struck, so I took out my camera and started snapping a few pictures of the scene. My golf buddy yelled to me, “Are we playing golf or taking pictures? Come on, let’s go!” Now that he’s seen how incredible the images are, he cuts me some slack.
This piece marks a point when I began to discover that the darker the ground beneath the puddle, the more color I could capture in the reflection. This image made me feel a sense of looking out of a rabbit hole.
