Artist's Inspiration

This photo was taken in early October 2016, a few days before Hurricane Matthew was to sweep through Florida. I was at a diner I frequent for lunch. Everyone was in hurricane prep mode, stocking up on extra supplies, and everything seemed chaotic. Even though this image is partially titled “…After the Storm,” it was really me trying to keep calm before the storm. I was hopeful about facing the hurricane, but still, a little stressed making sure we had supplies in case it did damage our area.
