The Ripples That Surround Us

The composition for this photo was inspired by a book I was reading about clues and patterns in water. The book told of how reading the patterns around stones in puddles of water gave clues to how islands in the ocean were affected by the tides and currents. This image of ripples around the small rock blended with the trees reflecting over the concrete surface under the water create a unique picture. One that reveals more details the longer you look.
